Hiya! I'm Katy Leitch and I am delighted to have been asked by Tracy to guest design for a month here at Noor! Design. A scrummy bundle of products arrived a couple of weeks ago and I've been beavering away to make some pretties to share with you over the next five weeks.
I love clean and simple cards so that's exactly what I have to share today. Inspired by the lovely non-traditional colour palette of a mittens paper, I created a pretty shabby card in muted greens and pinks.
My simple 'topper' is a die cut circle adorned with some little Dutch Doobadoo mittens which I painted with Victorian Velvet Distress Paint and finished with a touch of Rock Candy Distress Glitter and some teeny tiny star gems. To give the card a little dimension, the mittens and greeting are added with 3D foam pads.
