Looking Gorgeous

Hi Everyone,

The new LDRS range of dies and stamps have hit the UK and should be with me in the next couple of days.

This little lady and her wares is called "Looking Gorgeous" and is by All Dressed Up, love these girls.  The shape of the card was made using the Dutch Doobadoo Stand Up stencil.

I told you I couldn't wait to play with the new creative expressions lac edged leaves, aren't they just soooo gorgeous.

I used the Dutch Doobadoo pearl pen around the edge of the image and a few clusters dotted onto the image.

Hope you like it :)

Hugs Tracy x

My best Friend

Hello and good morning everyone, I hope you're doing fine and had a great weekend. Today I show you a card made with the sweet Girly Girls Picture and Paper pad. They are great to create cards and other projects when you don't have the time to color up a stamped image. It comes with 18 different images.

Below you can see more close ups...

The Spring Paper Art A5 are a sweet addition to the card.

And I so love the new Vintage Flourishes Ticket Dies.

Thank you so much for your visit! Have a happy day now!

Hugs, Karina

Precious Time

Hi everyone. It's my last post for Noor! Design UK today as Tracy's guest and yep you guessed it, I'm running late again. The past couple of weeks have just been a hectic time, but luckily it should start calming down for me a bit next week. So as you can tell time is a precious thing to me at the moment and that leads us rather neatly into my project today.

I must admit that I was completely out of my comfort zone with this one as I don't really play with mixed media a lot. When Tracy first asked me if I fancied decorating one of the MDF clocks I thought I'd do something very steampunk inspired, but it really didn't work out. So I've been putting this one off till the end lol.
In the end I've gone for shabby chic with a bit of steampunk fusion with the addition of the gears and clock face die. I hope you like it.

I primed my clock with plenty of gesso before adding the paper, crackle glaze and gluing together.
Love that distress glitter, it's fabulous, mind you it get's everywhere lol!

I added lots of Crackle Glaze, I really like the way it adds interest here.

Adding some leaves in among your flowers really helps to break them up when you have a lot of them together, and adds extra interest.

and I finished off with a lock and key and more gesso.

I hope you like my make today, I've really enjoyed my time as a guest with Noor! Design UK, even if I have had to step out of my comfort zone at time. Thank you so much Tracy for inviting me.

Linda :) xx

With Love

I had such fun making this card, I really am loving making cards without stamped images now and then, so relaxing and I get to fiddle lol.

I got some beautiful new papers from Noor Design in my last DT kit, so shabby and so delicious.  I’m loving the soft greens in this pack which work so well with the soft pinks in the flowers.  I also got the new Doodles stamps which I used to stamp around the top layer of the card.  They are clear stamps so really easy to use and set the layer off perfectly.  I’m not brave enough to scribble on the papers myself, so having the stamps to hand is great.

Vintage Clock

Good Morning,

I had loads of fun decorating this Dutch Doobadoo MDF Clock.  I used the gorgeous Budding Spring paper pad, soooo gorgeous and my usual helping of gesso :)

You can get the mechanics for the clock, HERE, so it can be a working clock, but I just wanted to decorate on this occassion.

I used the Prima Clock embellishment for the face of the clock, link at the bottom of the post.

I used the Vintage Flourishes swirl with heart diecut as the swirly leaves in the floral arrangements.

I also cut the butterflies form a second sheet and layered onto the butterflies strategically placed on both of the bells of the clock.

I also added some cheesecloth under the flower arrangements.

Look what's arrived at Noor Design UK, yum yum yum Lemoncraft papers and embellishments.

The new Tiny Miracles is a new release at Lemoncraft

We also have some Lemoncraft embellishments...

Have a good weekend
Tracy x
