My Summer is a Puzzle

Hello Everyone <3 

My name is Silje Kristin Aunan. I'm a papercrafter from Norway. Scrapbooking has been my passion for 1 year and 8 months now. I spend almost all my spare time creating. And I LOVE it <3

 I love scrapbooking because it gives me so much. It has become like therapy for me. I connect with myself. I find peace inside and feel such joy that my hands can create beautiful creations. It truly is a gift to be a scrapbooker. Also inspiring others is such humbe experience. It truly is one of the biggest gifts with being creative. Inspiration has no boundries or rules, it just gives and recieves <3 

 I would say my style are in three parts: Shabby Chic – Vintage – Romance. I get new ideas constantly. It just pours out of me and just have to make them :-D I make my creations without any input from other sources than my own head. I create my boxes and 3D projects by making my own templates

I love using paper flowers, charms, chipboard, pearls and ribbon. I use them a lot on my projects because I think the details often ties the project perfectly together.

 On the last challenge, I got a LOVELY surprise <3 Tracy invited me to join as a Guest Designer for Noor! Design. I could not say no to such an amazing invitation <3

My first contribution as a GDT, I have used a Puzzle piece. This is a Package with 4 pieces. I have used one, and of course I have changed it a lot:D First I used white and purple acrylic paint all over the puzzle piece. Then I used a Stencil with several different flowers with white Gesso to get the flowers all over. When it was dry, I used white spray paint, to get the right color <3

When it all was dry, I have used some lovely patterned papers from a Chabby Christmas paper pad.  

This paper pad you will find patterned papers that you can use for more than just Christmas projects. 

The wonderful paper pad is very versatile. 

I've made some squares from the paper, and then adhered them to brown Bazzill Cardstock. 

The images I have used is a lady on the beach. 

She fits very well to the colours and the flowers.

 

Around the lady I have used several different flowers and seashells. Under the flowers I have used a great dies from the Online Store, Vintage Flourishes Leaf Die. The paper I have used are from the same paper pad. On the edge I have made the Leaf darker with Distress Ink and glued them under the flowers. 

 

I have also used two different ribbons. One of them I have made a large white bow and attached a small shell on the top. As a finishing touch I have used the clear Wink of Stella on the flowers.

And this is what the summer is all about ;-)
