Wedding cake box

Hi everyone sharing with you today my Wedding Cake box using one of our lovely Goatbox exploding boxes.

Don't they simply make your life easier? Instead of measuring and scoring and cutting (and at times having to start over as you've cut it out wrongly) Goatbox have made our lives easier by providing us with ready made boxes to just simply use.

They come in a variety of colours too so I suggest you go have a good look at them.

I have created this exploding box for a friend of mine whose sister is getting married this month.

I have used the lovely papers from Studio75. At times papers just speak for themselves and just fit your purpose and this was one of those times for me :)

The Just Married wooden chipboard is from Bloomar there are three different designs for the same word in the same packet so you can create 3 wedding projects with them.

These papers are double sided so one side I have the spotted version and on the other is the lace version.

I did not want to hide the papers too much so I found a way to just attach a large organza ribbon and some flowers on the top lid.

Doilies give projects that lush lace feeling so I tend to use them quite a bit.

All in all chipboard, lovely papers and nice flowers plus loads of embellishments make your projects come alive.

This is a two tier cake which I created with my own dies.

Hope you have enjoyed seeing my photos of my wedding box today and I am back again with you next week with another creation so stay tuned :)

XOXO

Claire
