Guest Designer Vannessa's First Post

Good Morning and welcome to my first guest designer post here at Noor! Design U.K. I was beyond excited when I read my name had been picked for this month and Tracy kept it so very quiet as well at her workshop last Sunday too.

I decided after making the gorgeous fairy mushroom card at Tracy's workshop that I would have another go, using different colours this time. All the products from Noor! Design are listed below and you can find them in the shop through the links as well.

I started with the Mushroom Shape Art Template for the easel base and the two background mushrooms, which have been covered with the Dutch Doobadoo Structure Paste through the Bubbles Mask Stencil. Love this stencil and the texture that the structure paste gives too.

I added lots of leaves, sunflowers and a mushroom border as well to give it a garden feel.

I know this shape art will be a firm favourite of mine!

My fairy has been coloured with Copics and you can read more about my card here on my blog post

Don't forget to play along with us in the June Challenge. The theme is... "Here Comes Summer"!

Just Chilling on a mushroom

Hello Everyone,

Tracy here hopefully to inspire you.  The base of the card was made using a Dutch Doobadoo Stencil called "Square" sooooo easy to use.  The papers are all from the new Floral paper pad.

Seeing as the image had mushrooms in it, it seemed appropriate to use my mushroom die and vintage flourish grass die too.  I used coredinations cardstock so I was able to sand down the embossed areas.  I die cut the paper for the tops of the mushrooms so they matched perfectly.

The little white butterflies are Dutch Doobadoo lasercut butterflies, aren't they just so intricate and beautiful.

You can see the paper art butterfly closer here too.  I have also added a vintage flourish leaf and Dutch Doobadoo paper art Ferns too in white.

Here's a close up of the mushroom edge diecut.

Here's those cute ladybirds going around the corner of the card, love these.

I have also used a Dutch Doobadoo lasercut corner and just brushed some spun sugar distress ink over it to make it pink.

Thanks for popping by today, hope you enjoyed my card.

Hugs Tracy x
