A Little shopping

Good Morning,

Well this is my last card for the Crafteezee Design Team, I have loved my time here but it is time to go on to pastures new & maybe do some of the crafty things I have been putting off.

I have coloured up the super sweet LDRS Polkadoodles Shopping Haul stamp using Copic Markers, I have gone for a monochrome look with a tiny pop of colour.

I have used the gorgeous Mintay Lovely Day papers & have used an array of matching flowers.

Hope you have a super day

Hugs

Dancing Queen

Good Morning,

I hope everyone had a lovely Bank Holiday, the weather was a bit hit & miss for us but you can't complain. I have been having a play with the new Mintay Lovely Day papers.

For this card I have coloured up LDRS Polkadoodles Dancing Queen stamp using Copic Markers & a little glamour dust on her bow.

I have used lots of goodies on this card, there are some foamiran flowers, open roses, foam spirals, moss and some lovely pink sparkle organza ribbon that I have made into a large bow.

Isn't that butterfly & pen nib just super sweet.

Thank you for stopping by.

Hope you have a super day

Dandelions in 7th Heaven

Good Morning,

OMG have you seen the new 7th Heaven Mintay Papers, they are just soooo gorgeous I just had to have a play with them.

I have coloured up LDRS Polkadoodles Dandelion Wish using copic markers & have added some glamour dust to the dandelions.

I finally managed to find a bit of time to make some more flowers from foamiran, I do love making these even though I think more of the glue went over me than the flowers lol
The larger blue flower I used the Rosy Owl Flowers Dies AC1 and for the smaller pink flowers I have used the Whimsy Peony Flower Dies.

For the rest of the arrangement I have used a mix of Hybrid Tea Roses, Cherry Blossoms, Open roses & a Chrysanthemum.

Thank you for popping by.

Time for Tea

Good Morning,

We are suppose to be having some nice dry weather this week, fingers crossed as we really do need a bit of sunshine. With this in mind I have made a spring inspired card.

I have coloured up a stamp from LDRS called Pick your own Tea using copic markers. I thought this was a super stamp to use as she's surrounded by all the little flowers that are trying to come out now that the sun is here.

I have used a lot of lace in this arrangement as they were the perfect colours to go with the papers which are from Mintay's Celebrations paper pad. I have also fussily cut out some of the flowers, a tag & a cupcake from the pad.

I have put a little Tea Pot embellishment in between the lace flowers & some moss. I have forgotten about the moss as it was hidden at the back of my box, it does make a really good gap filler lol

Thank you for stopping by & please pop back tomorrow for some more gorgeous inspiration from the team.

Doggy Walkies

Good Morning,

I hope everyone has had a lovely Easter Break, the weather wasn't overly good for us but we did get out & take our little furry friend on lots of walkies with stops for coffee for us humans.

As we were out & about walking our little pooch I decided to colour up this super stamp from LDRS called Everything Stops for Walkies I have coloured her up using Copic Markers.

The flowers are a mixture of wild curly roses & tropical blooms with a white bon bon and some moss.

The paper are from the Mintay Birdsong 6x6 paper pad & I have fussily cut out one of the butterflies from the pad.

Thank you for stopping by & pop back tomorrow to see some more gorgeous inspiration from the DT

Cup of tea anyone?

Hello everyone!
It's another sunday and with the weather outside it's the perfect day to enjoy a nice cup of tea - or coffee, if you are like me. ;) So tea is also the theme I picked for the card I want to share with you today:

I went with designer's papers in different shades of blues. I love the lace print on those. I used light brown cardstock for the matting and added some white to my card as well. Did I mention I am not a very colorful person? ;)

There is some lace on the biggest piece of cardstock. Around the image I created a frame from white cardstock using the Blue Flower Border Die.

This Teacup Full Of Wishes stamps by LDRS is a real cutie - but it gave me a hard time. Two stamped images went into the trash after I started coloring. And then I had the idea of stamping it onto craft cardstock, heat embossing it with white powder and only coloring in the girl and a few minor details like the hearts and the cherry on the cupcake. I also added a bit of a shadow around it.

Since the card was a bit plain still I was able to use bigger embellishments. That beautiful white flower is cut from the Gwendoline Lace - the longer parts dangling down from the flower were left on since I liked the touch those add. I also added two Pixie Blossoms, a metall leave and that cute teapot charm, that I tied to my card with some twine.

To not only have all the decorations on the right side I decided I needed a few more on the left side. Here I glued a metall heart onto my card and then tied this cute miniature heart shaped glass bottle to it, which is filled with blue glitter.

 Enjoy your sunday, everyone!
Hugs, Kathrin

Fall is in the Air

Hello everyone!

Oh well, it's sad to say goodbye to summer. But looking outside my window I have to admit that it's really gone by now. But that also means fall with all its pretty colors has arrived. And those are what I used for today's card.

I love the mix of warm colors, of greens and reds and oranges and browns. Since I am not a very colorful person - not only in crafting but also in my home style, my clothing etc. - I still try to not overload my cards with colors. But fall just requires a special amount of different ones. And since they are all soft I am happy with it.

Don't you just love this paper with the leaves print by Pion Design as much as I do? It looks like the wind just whirled them all up.

This image by Dreamerland is such a happy one. I can imagine those two riding through piles of fallen leaves or puddles fall rain created on the streets.

They were colored in with Copics, trying to pick the colors from the papers.

I also created a little garden behind a fence that those two ride along.

There's some lace on the paper, then a laser chipboard flower that reminded me of those beautiful fall asters. I've cut a piece of the wooden fence off and glued it on top of the chipboard. And can you go without flowers? I only used one white pixie blossom here but added a metall leave and two of the 5 mm glass steamens. They are not only great for putting into a flower, but also for using them just as they are.

 Enjoy your sunday, everyone!
Hugs, Kathrin
