Stacked boxes with Maja design

Hello, happy Wednesday and welcome to the Crafteezee blog.
Today I'm sharing these three decorated boxes.

I bought the nesting boxes at a cheap discount store and thought they would be fun to decorate.
The Denim & Girls papers from Maja Design are ideal for the job.
They mix and match perfectly.
I covered all sides (also the inside) of the 3 boxes.

I added lots of roses and also lady E swirl die cuts.

It's a fun little project. I think it looks abit like a 3 layered cake.

Thanks for stopping by the Crafteezee blog.
Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Henriƫtte.

Maja Design Denim & Girls Card

Hello, welcome to the Crafteezee blog.
Today I'm sharing a card I've made using the cute papers from Maja Design
Denim & Girls.

The card has 3 layers of patterned papers.
I stitched a decorative frame on two of the paper pieces.

I made matching foamiran flowers in pink and blue, added a fantasy chipboard and
 other flowers as well.
I colored the chipboard with pink ink and soften it with white gesso.

The white swirls are cut out of white foamiran using a Lady E die cut.

The little sentiment is from a 13 arts paper pad - Rose fields.
Furthermore I added a little bow made from tulle trim.

Thanks so much for visiting the Crafteezee blog.

Hugs, Henriƫtte.

Sitting on a Branch with Tilda

Good Morning,

After going a little spring like last week I have gone back to wintry colours as it's just so cold & dreary here at the moment, spring seems like an age away.

For my card I have coloured up CP Tilda using Inktense Pencils & have added some stickles to her lapels. I have fussily cut her out & sat her on a branch. For the branch I have used the tree dies from the Doohickey Dies Vol 16 and put it on its side.

I have used some rose buds, Sweetheart blooms, Cherry Blossoms, a Chrysanthemum, white matt stamen & lace Gwendoline in White for my little arrangement and a small amount of cheesecloth.

The papers I have used are Maja Designs Joyous Winter Chilly & Sparkle 12x12 papers, I have distressed the edges of the base piece with scissors & carefully torn the edges of all the other layers.

Thank you for stopping by today & pop back tomorrow for some more inspiration from the team.

Hope you have a lovely day

Hugs

A winter card

 Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a great start into this  new year and now we're all back to our creative routine.

After the holidays I sometimes have a hard time picking a new theme. It's a bit too early for Valentine's or spring cards. So when looking out the window I saw snowflakes falling down gently and got inspired to make a winter-ish card.

This time I decided against a square card - the shape I like to do most - and went with a regular rectangle card base. On top of that I've put some designer's paper from the Winter Feelings No 60 Paper Pad. I covered the edges with white Gesso to add the impression of snow.

On top of the designer's paper I've put the birch trees by Noor!Design, a die cut Big Fence and another piece of designer's paper by Maja Design.

For the saying I've die cut the word winter from the same paper I used as the background and used a rhinestone for the i-dot.

Instead of a stamped image I went with this one that was cut from the bottom the Santa Claus designer's paper by Maja Design. Those two little bunnies playing in the snow really deserve their own card.

Around the image I've added the Mistletoe Round Frame by Scrapiniec. I think this is still great to be used after christmas.

For decorations I went with this fluffy white flower. It was cut from the Gwendoline lace. Then I've put some glass stamen and a brown paper spiral underneath.

Have a happy sunday!
Hugs, Kathrin

It's New Year's Eve

Hello everyone!

It's New Year's Eve - the last day of the year. Everyone is looking forward to the new one, leaving behind the old one and all the unpleasant things it might have brought. And of course to all the celebrations planned tonight! That's what I made the theme of the card I am sharing with you today:

Here I used the beautiful Outdoors paper from the Joyous Winterdays Collection by Maja Design. I used both sides here - the one with the flourishes in the background and the beautiful green one for the big rectangle in the middle of my card. Inbetween I've put some paper with a script pattern from the Peony Avenue paperpad by Studio 75. I also used the same one for the strip I've put across the card.

All papers are matted with black cardstock to add some contrast to my card. Behind the large rectangle I've put a flower border cut from black cardstock using the border die by Noor!Design.

In the middle, as the center element, I used the beautiful Clock with Swirls by Joycrafts. I love the look of this die cut! The detailed and swirly frame and the antique looking clock in the middle.

I used silver mirror cardstock to cut the background part. On the picture I took of the whole card my camera is mirroring in the mirror cardstock so you can't really see it. That's why I took another picture from an angle. Can you see the elegant look? I think using the mirror cardstock only made it look more elegant. The clock was cut from black cardstock.

I used Wine Tasting Tilda for my card again. As you might have seen - the clock shows it's midnight. And Tilda is ready to toast to the new year. She even brought out her nice clothes, wearing a glittering shirt and matching shoes.

On the left side of the card I used the Outdoors paper again to cut this little banner and tucked it under the clock. I also used one of the large Cotton Butterflies by Joycrafts here. Who says all butterflies are hiding away in winter?

So, with this last card of the year here on the blog I want to wish all of you a happy New Year's Eve and a wonderful, creative and healthy new year 2018!

Hugs, Kathrin
