Summer and strawberries, Jane's Journal Guest Designs

Hello I am Jane from Jane's Journal. I was delighted to be invited by Tracy to Guest Design here at Noor! Design UK for the next 5 Mondays. I have been blogging for nearly 5 years and I adore my crafting. I love to challenge my styles of crafting so my work varies from cute to grunge and for the last couple of years I have really enjoying playing with mixed media. I love getting inky and you will find that I will bring this into most of my projects.  I also plan an art journal post (or 2 if I get the time).

 My first post for Tracy needed to be a quickie and what better than to use the great card art strawberry template.

I made this little strawberry gift pouch for a present. It was so difficult to photograph but I tried my best.

These are really straight forward and great fun to make. I have shown my process and lots of real strawberries over on my blog by clicking HERE.  I also thought I would bring a smile to your faces on a summer Monday morning.......

..............it's never too early................................ is it?? ;0)

Big Dreams

and this beautiful die - "Open Heart with Butterfly" is one of my favorites.

Christmas Plaque

I used one of the Dutch Doobadoo MDF Essentials Circles to create a christmas plaque.

 I  used the Dutch Doobadoo Ice Stars Stencil and Structure paste to create the raised embossed snowfalkes, just love the structure paste as you know, lol.  I added little pearl snowflakes to a couple of the centres.

The  poinsetta was edged with gesso.

 Hello Everyone !!!

Margot here today sharing another project made using fabulous MDF Essential ... this time I've used Essential Hearts ... they are just perfect... there is so many diffferent ways we can use them.

To decorate my Heart plaque I've used Vintage Flourishes Leaves and added some flowers and gems.

The Love stamp is from the English Sending Love stamp set ... to finish my project I've added pearls, twine and metal heart.

Vannessa's Guest Designer Post #5

Here's my last GDT post for Noor! Design UK. I have loved being the GDT for the last month and would like to say a huge thank you to Tracy for inviting me to join the team!

This time, I have gone for a fairly simple and pretty CAS card (for me anyway. I can't do proper CAS cards as I think they look too empty!). I used the beautiful Pretty Floral Paper Bloc and Pergola Die as well which Tracy sent me. I didn't know how I would use it at first, but it was just the perfect frame for this image!
