Off to a Masquerade

Good Morning,

I have been having a play with the gorgeous Mintay papers again, these papers are just so pretty & fun to work with.

I have coloured up Masquerade Tilda using Inktence pencil & have added some stickles to her crown & mask. To the side of her I have fussily cut out some of the flowers, tags & cakes from the paper pad.

I'm back with the bon bons again, these are brilliant & so cute. There is a bark heart hidden in there as well.

A bunch of Wedding Flowers

Hello everyone!

With no doubt the wedding day is the most important day in a woman's  life ! This is the reason
today that I will show you  my new wedding project. It's not completely finished  yet, but I promise you I'll display it here when it is!

You can see a bunch of different pretty pieces such as roses, four different colours and sizes of mini flowers and gypsophila spreads. Believe me, this took me lots and lots of hours and sore fingers while making them but it was definitely worth it!

Look at this stunning beauty!

All my babies were made out of different colours foamiran.

All those charming flowers and more will form the product in perfect integrity, which you'll see very soon!
Can you guess what is it ;-)?

Thank you for stopping by again!
Wishing you a wonderful week!

Hugs,

Days Gone By

Hi Everyone, Tracy here again sharing a card made with the oh so gorgeous papers from Pion Design's latest release "Days Gone By".

I used the NEW Joycraft Butterfly Edge 2 Die and cut it out using Pion Design's Palette cardstock in White II for the base and cut again from the paper.

I used a Pion Design Grandma's Attic Springtime image and framed it using a Melissa Frances frame.

The Lace Alecon was perfect in colour for this collection of papers.

I added tripical blossom, hybrid tea roses and gardenia to the floral arrangement and finished with a wax cord bow.

The Tags at the top were cut out and a Woodware clip added to each that were placed into an envelope glued to the back of the top layer.

The shape was created from a previous Doohikey collection.

Hugs Tracy x

a little box with Tilda

 Hello everyone!

For today's post I've decided to do something different than a card - so I made this little box. It is 10 x 10 cm in size and holds a bar of those square chocolats:

The box is cut from white cardstock and then I've used designer's papers by Lemoncraft and Mintay to decorate it. I went with pink and blue as the main colors. And yes, I already realized it myself - as soon as Magnolia is involved I tend to do a lot more layers again. But it's fun to do and I like the look of those finished projects.

On top of the bottom layer of paper I've put some white lace and between the papers there is one layer of corrugated paper which I've painted white partially. The box was too small to also add matting to my papers and I needed something to break the layers up a bit.

This Masquerade  Tilda is a real cutie. I had to color her in before I knew what to make with her. I did the coloring with Copics and covered the dress with clear Wink of Steall to make it sparkle.

Even if the stamp might be made with Mardis Gras in mind but I think dressed like this she might also be on her way to a very fancy party. And I know she'll be the star of the evening!

Since I used Tilda with her mask of course the matching dies were my first pick for decorations. There is her eye mask and I also used the feather, that comes in the same set. It's glued to the top right of my box.

The pink fabric flower was cut off from a piece of pink lace Gwendoline. Then I added a blossom and a tulip here. And when I've die cut the feather I had the idea of adding a real one as well - which I did above the flowers. It just adds a specia touch...

Have a happy sunday everyone!
Hugs, Kathrin

Pink flower

Hello everyone!

I show you my new flower. I made it with silk suite. Untill that moment I did not know this kind of foamiran. I coloured my flower with oil pastels. The leaf I  made with iranian foam. What do you think? I think I have to still work on it.

See you next week,
Beata:)

Mintay Papers

Have you seen the new papers in the store?!!  OH MY GOSH!!  These are stunning!!  And if you haven't seen yet, there is a huge giveaway for this month's "Anything Goes" challenge.  4 different prize packages of Mintay Papers, which I happen to be featuring today!

I TRIED not to cover the papers with my usual embellishments and I don't think I did too bad! 😁😁 I really wanted to showcase those stunning "Birdsong" papers.  I've added 3 rows of new laces, the tiny white pom poms (and there are many different colors!!), the rose ribbon with pearl pink champagne and lace "Florie".  OH MY that stuff is luscious!!!

I really love the color combo of peaches and turquoise in this set.  It was nice to play with more spring colors.  This is Tilda with Daisy Umbrella who I've colored with Copics.

This piece is STUNNING!! OH MY WORD!!!  I layered this gorgeous rhinestone bow with pearl atop a seam binding bow.  Scrumptious!!

I hope you're having a wonderful week!

Take care for now and get crafty!

Hugs!

What's your Style?

Good Morning,

It's Wednesday again so it's my turn to show you a card that I have made using the brand new papers from Mintay. These papers are so bright & cheerful, just what we need to brighten up the cold wet days.

I have used my Copic Markers to colour up this stamp from LDRS called What's your Style. I would say that my 'style' is the Casual Weekend as I do hate having to dress up, I'm much happier in my slouch around the house clothes.

For my little arrangement I have used Chrysanthemums, open roses, poppies, bon bons & pink pearl spray. The bon bons are just fab you have to pop over to the shop & grab some.

A Bird Card

Hello everyone!

Can you imagine how deserted our world would be without those little creatures, birds?
Today I'm here with my new inspiration for Noor Design, a brand new card, which I called a Bird Card!

To create it I've used an absolutely adorable new collection of scrapbook paper Mintay, Birdsong by Karola! This was love at first sight! Look at these beauties!

The card was made holus-bolus :-)!
As you can see there are lots of colourful layers, diverse shades of peach, cream, turquoise, green and Indian red.

The foliage was made using my favorite Fantasy dies Birch Leaves and String of Pearls and Stamens. They are amazing aren't they!

The sentiment came on its own and took place on the upper right corner ;-)

Do you see this enchanting pale pink lace? I adore it!

Of course, this card wouldn't be mine creation without my usual foamiran flowers which were added to emphasize its exotic allure! I created them all out of red foamiran by dint of  Fantasy Openwork Rose.

Thank you for stopping by again!
Wishing you a colourful new week!

Take care!
Hugs,
Elena xxx
