Season's Greetings


Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I posted and most of you will know that Christmas Cards are my utmost favourite cards to make so I couldn't resist a play with Pion Design's Christmas Wishes collection.


I cut the image from the Christmas Morning 12x12 sheet using LDRS Fancy Rectangles die set and edged with Forest Moss distress ink.


I used a Scrapiniec Tatting Christmas 3D Heart and finished with a wax cord bow and two tone frosted pomegranates.

The Poinsettia was made using Foam Silk Suite in Red.  This foam doesn't need heating and is easy to manipulate with your fingers.


I cut tags from the Tag sheet, added a diecut from the Fantasy Branches 3 behind it and added some frosted pomegranates.  You will also see the NEW reindeer clip, isn't it cute.

A frosty winter card

 Hello everyone!

Winter is really close now - and I am looking forward to it! Well, now I'm saying that, let's talk about it in two months... 
I am a person who loves the sun and heat. But doing winter crafts is a totally different thing than having to stand outside in the cold shoveling snow. I like to use those light and icy colors. And that's what I did on today's card:


I went with light blue and white papers from the Peony Avenue series by Studio75. All papers got a white matting.

In the middle of the card I used the pergola die by Noor!Design. The lace I put across my card kind of looks like a  light layer of snow. It's lace Rebecca, which is double the height originally. Since that was too much for my card I just cut it in half lengthwise.

To the top right corner I've added a die cut winter text and a small heart shaped tag.


 Ice Tilda has bundled up to have fun in the cold. She's been colored in with Copics.

Next to her I've added a few embellishments: a die cut snowflake, a flower or grass thing that I have no name for, a light blue meadow spray, a white blossom and that Wilma button. With it's little blossoms and rhinestones it has the perfect look for my card.


 Behind the pergola I've put a large tree. This tree, and also the heart shaped tag and that flower thing I don't know how to name, are from the DooHickey Club Kit #16 by Magnolia. It has a fall theme but there are quite a few dies included that are perfect for winter cards as well.

I also added two snowflakes, put on top of each other, here.

Flower arrangement

Christmas


Christmas is getting closer so, today's inspiration is Christmas themed card.


I created levels from Pion Desing papers and added some tags


White cinnamon, pine cones wired up with sisal and great rustical bells.
Everything covered with snow.
And of course, it won't work without laces.

Surf Up...

Hello!

Today I have special card to share with you! It's a card made few time ago with my son.
We used one of the cute pinguins from Whimsy Stamps set called Life's a Beach.

Wine Tasting Tilda is Back!!!

Hey guess what?!!  I'm back with some more papers from Pion's "Summer Falls into Autumn".  ha ha ha!  I may have mentioned that this has been my most favorite collection EVAH!!  😄  I've had this Joy "Butterfly Frame" in my stash that I am happy to say I FINALLY got to use!  I added some of Joy's "Vintage Flourishes Butterflies" over top for more dimension.  If you're liking that "Butterfly Frame" it's even on sale right now.  The little butterflies are not in stock any more but if you'd like them just sent Tracy an email.  She may be able to get them for you.


OH MY GOSH!!!  And you see that super cute wine bottle?  I had that in my stash for so long they're no longer in stock anymore but I just HAD to share it with you.  Again, if you like it, see if Tracy would be able get more in for you.  I attached a seam binding bow to it and added a few more flowers here and there that you can find in the store.  The green branches are a Fantasy die called "Small Branches".  There's also a bigger one that I sometimes mix together to change the look of my foliage.   



Ooooo I just love these gorgeous sparkly pieces.  This is "Button Alexis" and it comes in 8 different colors.  I also added a layer of "Lace Aspire" and some more Wild Orchid flowers.


This is Magnolia's "Wine Tasting Tilda" that I've colored up using my Copics.  She's still in stock so a perfect little image to use for those wine luvin' friends!  Don't we all have at least one?  Or 2...maybe 3???  hee hee


Well there's my cute little card for this week.
