Hi, Henriëtte here today sharing this altered bottle.
First I coated an empty whiskey bottle with two layers of white gesso.
To decorate the bottle I used Stamperia rice paper "Tag with Rose".
With a brush and some water I traced around the oval frame and teared it of.
With decoupage glue I glued the oval on the front of the bottle.
I did the same with the ornaments and glued these on the back.
Then I coated the entire bottle with the decoupage glue.
To make the bottle look more vintage I applied brown distress ink on the entire surface.
I glued sisal around the bottleneck and embellished the bottle with two foamiran
roses and hyacinth flowers.
I have a tutorial on my you tube channel on how to make the foamiran roses.
You can find it here.
The Stamperia rice papers are available at the Crafteezee shop in many beautiful designs and
they are really of excellent quality.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Crafteezee blog today.
I appreciate your comments very much.
Hugs, Henriëtte.
