Wild Rose Studio - Teddy Ballerina

Good Morning.

 

I hope you are all well and enjoying your week so far.

 

I have had such a relaxing time Monday/Tuesday.

My sister and I went to Titanic Spa in Huddersfield and my oh my it was just what the Dr ordered. We arrived Monday morning and after a welcome coffee had the run of the facilities. We both felt all the tension leave our bodies after spending time in the swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam rooms and sauna's. We did avoid the ice plunge pool however! Lunch was at 12.30 after which we relaxed in a giant pool of bean bags whilst our lunch settled - it was so comfortable. We used the facilities again until showering and changing for cocktails and our two course evening meal which was delicious. There is everything you need in the rooms to make your stay really comfortable. When we left this morning we both felt so rested. Looking forward to our next visit!.

 

So, onto my card.

 

I have used the oh so cute Teddy Ballerina from Wild Rose Studio.

 

 

The card shape was created using a Card Shape from Dutch Doobadoo. These are not in the store at the moment but if you are interested in purchasing one, just drop Tracy a message and she will be able to give you more details.

I love using the Dutch Doobadoo shapes - they always add such interest to your cards.

 

 

I cut out the image and placed her on the Marianne Design Creatables, Anja's Buttterfly Die Set.
Just to let you know, it wasn't until I have finished my card that I realised I hadn't put the die through my die cutting machine to add the embossing. I love it as it is but once you have embossed it the result is totally gorgeous.
 

 

 Lots of flowers to decorated and my favourite leaves cut from the Studio Light Flowers Leaf Edge Die.

Crafteezee collection - card with a "window"

Good evening everyone

This evening I would like to show you a little card that I made with a "window".

First of all sorry for the blue pictures, but I have not been home when there has been som good light to take photos in lately..

I have used a lot of jummies from my latest crafteezee collection kit...

I am so in love with the pearls that came in the kit...

And the amazing papers.. ohh my...on the part of my "window" that is inside my card I used a pink ribbon..

Bit Of Wine Maybe

Hi there how are you all? Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Well this is a scheduled post as I'm currently away on a short break until Friday.

So my post today is for Noor Design UK & I'm showing you a card I made for the show that Tracy is next at, showing one of the new Magnolia stamps from the Recipe Collection........OMGoodness I love these sooooo much!!

I was hoping to have the tutorial this week but I completely forgot about my little holiday & making things for the show......yep brain freeze!! I will however do the tutorial next week lovelies.

I've used such pretty papers for this pink card today, they are Lemoncraft 'Heart Painted' & I inked the edges & machine sewn them....sooooo pretty & perfect for shabby chic cards as well.

How beautiful is that large flower.....swooooonnn. I cut the leaves off it separately then glued them down with my paper leaves made with 2 different dies, a Rosy Owl die & the thinner one is a die from the 'Rose & Heart' dies from the Recipe Collection.

The leaves were cut from Pion Design Palette Green l/

Of course I added some beautiful lace from Tracy's store........swoooon again!!

The Magnolia stamp is 'Wine Tasting Tilda' & I stamped her onto Fabriano & coloured her with distress ink refills & then gave the image a covering of Tim Holtz Glaze to protect the image. Tracy will be adding this to her store soon.........its fabulous stuff & my teamie Barbara uses it all the time & I think its a must for images coloured with distress ink.

I also covered Tilda's glass with Glossy Accents.

The sentiment next to Tilda is a Stempelglede Stamp set. 

The dies are Little Darlings, another one of my favourite dies. I cut off the scalloped pearls & added single ones on the image & a row of 3 in the top left corner.

I think this is one of my favourite stamps from this collection as she can be used for so many occasions. I have made a card using the Oven & Chef Edwin for the show but I will show you that another time ;-)
