Hi everyone,

Barbara here today with a really different project as usual for me. 

I've used this lovely Dutch Doobadoo MDF Bird Houses a lot of Gesso and Structure paste.... 

and here is what I made...

I really love them!

I've used Paper pads from Budding Spring Paper block. Papers are just gorgeous. Colours are soft and pastel. The choice was so hard for me.

 All shapes are distressed. Over I've added a lot of Gesso ...

Then I've used Brick mask and structure paste..

and Joy crafts Clear stamp Doodles (xoxoxox)...

Here are also Vintage Flourishes Triple Tricker Dies and Spring Paper art.

Mixed media project.

Good morning.

 

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and hopefully had more time off than myself. No partying for me on New Years Eve either as I am working till 8pm. Will look forward to getting home and relaxing with hubby and a glass or two of Red wine to see the new year in.

 

I am sharing with you today my first mixed media project. I really enjoyed making this and I have another to show you soon.
 

I started by covering the hearts with Gesso and when this was dry I added the flowers and bricks using structure paste through the stencils.

I used Lindy's stamp gang sprays in Angelic Christmas and Marion Smith colour lab starter kit to colour the flowers and hearts.

 

 

I used two leaves from Noor Design which are listed below.

Winter Scene

Goodmorning all,

Today it is my turn to show you a new project. This time I have chosen to make a canvas, instead of a card. I used the Dutch Mask Art Stencil Bricks and the Dutch Doobadoo Structure paste to make background on my canvas. Colored it with PanPastel. 

If you have never worked with structure paste, watch this video:

The window on my canvas is made with a new Dutch Card Art stencil, which I cut from kraft paper. Tracy used it on a card, so as you can see you have various ways to use it.

The icicles are made with the new Winter Wishes border die. 

And isn't it exciting that Tracy is now selling the Dutch Doobadoo collection too in her shop?
