Card Art Fox.

Good morning.

I hope you are all well and having a lovely week.

I am here today with a really cute project which I had such fun with - I hope you like it.

For the background paper, I used the birch tree stencil and coloured it with Distress marker ink pads using a stippling brush.

The fence, log, branch and cute little bird are all from the spring garden set. There are so many fab elements included in this set, I am sure I will be using them over and over.

The flowers have been coloured using the Marion Smith colour lab starter set and the Angelic Christmas sprays.

Thank you all for stopping by today and for your lovely comments.

See you again soon.

Dress up

Good morning.

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and New Year and not finding it too difficult to get back to normality again.

I have had so much fun putting together todays project. Slightly daunted when I started this as she is so tall so I decided to go for a tag as the proportions seemed to suit her better. It took me back to my childhood playing with the paper dress up dolls.

The papers are perfect for this dressing up tag as they have buttons, rulers and scissors printed on them and I just love her patchwork trousers.

The gorgeous butterfly is from the Spring collection of dies - just love the set and I am sure it will be used a great deal.
The flowers I have coloured using the Marion Smith colour lab starter kit.

Don't you just love punctuation mask art. I wrote the wording on the tag as everyone seems to be adding hash tag at the moment - probably down to Twitter. There is a hash tag in the mask art but the bag is covering it.

Thank you all for stopping by today and for your lovely comment.

See you soon.

Mixed media project.

Good morning.

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and hopefully had more time off than myself. No partying for me on New Years Eve either as I am working till 8pm. Will look forward to getting home and relaxing with hubby and a glass or two of Red wine to see the new year in.

I am sharing with you today my first mixed media project. I really enjoyed making this and I have another to show you soon.

I started by covering the hearts with Gesso and when this was dry I added the flowers and bricks using structure paste through the stencils.
I used Lindy's stamp gang sprays in Angelic Christmas and Marion Smith colour lab starter kit to colour the flowers and hearts.

I used two leaves from Noor Design which are listed below.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my project - I will see you soon for my next mixed media project..

Have a lovely New Year whether you are sharing it with family or friends or like us, having a quiet evening.

I hope you all have a happy and healthy 2016.

Hugs Sharon. x

Road Trip

Good morning.

I hope you are all having a lovely week.
As it is Wednesday, I am here to show you my latest project.

I have so much fun decorating this car.

I love the new Cool Dude papers - perfect for my road trip card.
The headlights were cut out of some papers which had cogs and wheels on them.

Of course I had to colour some flowers with the Marion Smith color lab starter kit.
This is one of my best buys as I can now colour match any project and I had such fun getting inky.

Thank you all for stopping by today and for your lovely comments.
See you soon.

MDF and Card art Shields.

Good morning.

Hope you are all well and having an enjoyable week.

As it is Wednesday, I am here with my inspiration project.
This was such a fun project and love how it has turned out.

I used both the MDF shield and the Card Art Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo.
The sentiment is from the Rustic Wood paper pad.

The ribbon, large green flower and the top pinky flower have all been spritzed using the  Marion Smith color lab starter set.

Thank you all for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week.

Sharon. x
