Hello everyone Vicky here today showcasing some of the faberooney products by Noor Design & Dutch Dubadoo.
Today I am showing you the 'Box Art Suitcase' by Dutch Doobadoo.........this is an awesome product for making little giftboxes with a difference. The best thing is they can be used for sorts of occasions, male & female.........versatility at its best ;-)
I have gone for a Seascape type of decoration.........I lurve the sea its one of my favourite places & I'm lucky enough to live 5 minutes walk away. I absolutely love these 'All At Sea' papers, I have inked the edges with Pumice Stone & machine stitched all around each piece so it looks like an authentic suitcase ;-)
At one side of the suitcase I added a sentiment from the 'All At Sea English Text' stamp set & added a seagull from the die set.
At the other side I cut 2 tags from the new 'Botanical' paper pad, I punched holes into each one & added metal eyelets to both of them & tied them together with string. The aeroplane is from the A5 Holiday paper art.
This is the other side of the suitcase using a few different dies & Gesso here & there. All the other bits you can get from Live & Love Crafts. Inside the bottle is german glass glitter & I added 'Message in a bottle' message over the top.
I added another tag to the fron from the Botanical paper pad. I tied string around the handle & hung an Anchor charm from it.
That' sit form me but why not pop on over to the Noor Design UK store here, Tracy has added gorgeous new products to the store including fabulous new products perfect for mixed media..........so grab yourself a cuppa, sit back in comfort & go shopping yayyyyyyyy ;-)
Here's the Dutch Doobadoo Video of how to put the suitcase stencil together
Take care, thanks for stopping by.
The products used can be ordered in the Noor! Design U.K. webshop:

Such a fab little suitcase and beautifully decorated. I love it and I love beach themed gifts. Can I possibly make a small request and ask that sometimes your fab DT show a photo tutorial/step by step of how they put together the box art and the other Doobadoo card art pieces. I am sure it would give us some great inspiration. I have a few pieces sitting in their packages as I have never seen a demo of how to use them. I share lots of step by steps on my blog as people love to see how things come together. Just a thought? Crafty hugs xx
