I'm just loving the latest Maja Design collection "Denim and Friends" but I have a feeling I say that about all their papers.  LOL!  So I thought I would use some more of them for this week's card.  I've used a Dutch Doobadoo template called "Shape Art A5 Fantasy" but it's out of stock HOWEVER, there are some great shapes left and they're even on SALE!!!

I made a bouquet with some WOC flowers and some Foamiran hand crafted flowers using Whimsy's peony die.   I added some white glass and vintage stamens for the center stamen and  I've used a ball and rose shaped wire base that I covered with blue Stickles.  I'm thinking of all the kinds of things you can do with these and my next experiment will be trying to cover them with some Foamiran.  They are sold out right now but soon to be back in stock.

This precious little Magnolia is "Tilda with Big Poppy" ... I hope there are some blue poppies in hindsight.  LOL!  Well in her world there is.  hee hee  I've colored her with my distress inks and had a blunder so had to cut out another piece, color and put over top the mistake.  No way was I colored her all over again!!  LOL!

Ooooooooo so this piece was fun.  It's from the Scrapiniec Fantasma Frame and Border pack.  I colored it first using a TH cube then covered it with Stardust glitter.  I'm pretty impressed at how it shows in the picture.  YAY!!  Also, luvin the mosses available in the store!!  I attached it using my hot glue gun but I have used regular glue dots in the past.

I'm off on a wine tour this weekend and I've been on count down for 2 years!  Well....I was suppose to go last year but it didn't work out so I said come rain or shine I'm going no matter what.  So far so good.  ðŸ˜

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!!

  1. What a wonderful stunning card 😍😍. . Love your image (to die for) and I'm sure I've seen a blue poppy somewhere 😉😉. Ive been trying to get more stuf on my cards but they never work out like yours 😕. I hope you have a wonderful time at the wine tasting 🍷🍷 "chink chink honey". X

    1. Thank you Sue!! A friend gave me some good advice about embellishments once and I adhere to it a lot but sometimes there seems like room for more. HA HA HA! She said to visualize a triangle on your card and at each point is roughly where your embellishments would go to give you good balance. That would include your sentiment as well. Let me know if you try it. I'm curious to see if it works for others as well. Oh and yes I will have a wonderful wine tasting time! LOL! Thank you again!
