Harvest Love

Hello and good morning my dear crafty friends. Fall definitely arrived here, and so I also got into the mood to create autumnal cards and projects. I love the warm colors of Autumn; earth tones with different browns, yellow, orange. All those colors are to find in my new card, using the gorgeous new paper collection from Pion Design 'Summer Falls Into Autumm'.

Below you can see some close ups of my card...

Have a happy day now. Thank you for your visit here.
Hugs, Karina

My first post on this blog

 Hello everyone!
I was in vacation when I got an email that I am a new DT member for Noor!Design UK Shop. Could vacation get any better?
Now I am back home again and have my very first project ready to share with you:

I made a little seed bag here and decorated it with a fall-ish theme - yes, sadly summer is coming to an end. But I am looking forward to all those fall colors.

For the seed bag itself I used the Seed Pocket and Garden Tools die set by Marianne Design. I love how it now only comes with the seed bag die itself but also with so many little dies that can be used to decorate it.

I've die cut the bag from a designer's paper with a wooden print from the Noor's Favourite Paper bloc. Then I put some cheesecloth and white cardstock on the front and then added the smaller rectangle from the set. It was die cut from a blue paper with white dots that comes in the Berry Sweet Paper bloc.

I also added some white paint on the edges of some of the papers. Therefor I used the Gesso White by Dutch Doobadoo.

For the image I went with the cute Farmer Tilda. Isn't she a real cutie? And with the checked blouse she looks like a real gardener. She was colored in with Copics and then I've cut her out around the stamped lines.

Behind Tilda I've added some twine that I also used to tie a bow on the back and keep the bag closed.

The sunflower was made using some of the smaller dies that come with the seed bag. I've die cut the single parts from different colors of cardstock and then put everything together.

The label that also comes with the seed bag is what I used to add a little greeting to my creation. The "happy fall" was put together from single letters, cut using the Alphabet and Numbers die set. Those letters have the perfect size for this label.

I am looking forward to sharing more creations here with you and to my time here on the team. Until next week I am wishing all of you a happy sunday!
Hugs,
Kathrin aka Kruemel

Inspiration post for Noor Design UK.

Good morning.
I hope you are all well and have enjoyed the Bank Holiday
I am here today to share with you my latest project for Noor Design UK.

For todays project, I made another bottle tag for our friends recent wedding.

The gorgeous papers are from Studio 75. I keep going back to these papers as they are so pretty with muted colour tones. The base mat for the Scapiniec Wedding Day is by Marianne Creatable and is called Anja's Butterfly. Part of this set is also around the bottle neck.

Placed inside the Chrysanthemum is a gorgeous Lauren pink button.
I added one of the beautiful lace butterflies below.
Lots of pretty flowers have been added to the displays and these along with all the other items are listed at the bottom of this post.

Thank you all for stopping by today and for your lovely comments.
I will be back tomorrow with our new challenge for Noor Design UK.

Hugs Sharon. x

Pion Design With Love

Hello everyone how are you all?
I was hoping you to show you a project this week with in depth photo's or maybe even a video of the making or part of. However my daughter got took into hospital & although she is home now she is still very poorly. Also my eldest son & family moved at the weekend so I was looking after my grandchildren as well as my poorly Natalie & well there are not enough hours in the day.

So I will show you that next week as I'm really looking forward to doing it. Today though I have some shabby chic for you......oh my I love shabby chic........I would have it everywhere........even hubster would get the shabby chic treatment if I could get away with it lol.
I used the oh so pretty Pion Design 'My Dearest Sofia' papers, I went with blues for this one with just hints of pink in the background.
I have also used bits from the Crafteezee Collection No.9 which I think was March Elegant collection......but I'm not certain :-(
The 2 hearts in this photo are from the Crafteezee collection, the lace heart is lace & you get a long length of it but I just cut 1 heart off.....you may end up seeing these lots lol
The small metal heart I added Ivory Fran-Tage embossing powder to it but before I heated it with my heat gun I rubbed off little bits here & there so a bit of bronze would still peek through.
I also cut out 2 doilies, 1 in white card using a Fantasy die & the other from Pion paper with a Marianne die...........these are 2 of my favourite dies........amongst many others lol.

This little wooden peg with a heart on was also from the crafteezee collection....I added white gesso to the wooden peg & then stamped a postage stamp on the half of the heart.......its not showing up very good in this picture. I stamped onto paper first to get a lot of the ink off as I wanted it light.

I love the metal leaves but sometimes I think they dont really go with my card..........so I added Fran-tage embossing powder to both sides & heated them with my heat gun.........be careful & use tweezers as they get very hot with being metal.
Now I absolutely LOVE them & will be buying lots & giveing them the fran-tage treatment lol.
For these I used Ivory Fran-Tage to match the smaller metal heart in the previous photo.
I used some gorgeous flowers & I used quite a few different leaves. I used the metal ones & I used 2 different Rosy Owl Leaf dies & I also used Tim Holtz Holiday Greens.......I think a couple of the dies in this set you can get away with all year round. The Tim Holtz ones I cut with the blue 12x12 Pion Sheet, Rosy Owl was cut with the green 12x12 pion sheet & the maja design sheet & also white cardstock..... I also added some heat treated organza ribbon in there as well.

I added cheesecloth between the first & second layer & I also added 2 different laces. I distressed all my edges with a Tim Holtz tool.

Well thats it from me dont forget about our current challenge which is 'Add Lace' here.

Thanks so so much for stopping by it means a lot to us.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
