Easel cards with Mintay Life stories

Hello, I've created two easel cards using the Mintay's collection "Life stories".

I've made a masculine and a feminine easel with the patterned papers available in the collection
and also two matching envelopes.

The idea and envelop template I found here.
On the masculine card I added cut outs, a colored chipboard from Fantasy.
and a Tim Holtz wooden slice to hold the easel in place.

and this is the envelop:

For the feminine easel card I added fussy cuts from the Mintay papers.

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, Henriƫtte.

Mintay Life Stories DL Cards

Hello, my dear crafty friends!

Elena is here again and this week I have made a layered project using mainly one of the most charming paper sets of Mintay, called ''Life Stories'' that you can find in our Crafteezee shop.

I also used some sheets of adorable Stamperia, ''Roses and Lace'' 12x12 paper pad that matched perfectly to the other chosen ones.

Each of these paper sets is totally unique and fit for any Mixed Media projects, scrapbooking or pretty simple cardmaking.

So here is my DL card set included some cut outs, ripped lace and 3D paper flowers. A little bit crowded but very beautiful.

Thanks, for being here today with me!
See you next Tuesday.
Happy crafting!
Hugs,
Elena xxx

Especially for you card

Hello crafty friends, I just wanted to share with you this beautiful simple card.

I started off by using Friday the thirteenth awakening green patterned paper, cutting a wave shape at the bottom. I then cut two different size strips of Pion new beginnings patterned paper distressing the edges slightly. Once glued into place I used my scrapman napkin die to cut three napkins from my pion papers glue together curling the edges to look like a large flower.

I then added my lace Gwendoline gluing to both sides of the large flower. I cut two of the flowers from the lace to glue in the centre finishing off with my lace frame no.6

                                                         thanks for looking Stephanie xx

Angel

Hello crafty friends it's Stephanie here, I wanted to share with you today my layout using the gorgeous Mintay paper collection 7th heaven. I used two of the same floral sheet cutting the large flourishes from one sheet then adding it on top of the other patterned paper using 3d foam pads.
This gives the layout more dimension.

I just fussy cut several flourishes to give the layout more detail.

I added my hand cut butterfly's  giving them more detail I added some mini prills to the centre.

Rolling the edges all around the layout to reveal the blue patterned paper.

I used natural sisal again to my hand cut flourishes

I finished the layout using my chosen embellishment marked in the links below.
thanks for looking hugs Stephanie xx

Hanglar & Wings Chicken Coop

I am in love with these Hanglar & Wings stamps.  I know most of you remember the previous ones we had but the new ones are absolutely to die for :)

So since this lady is holding a chicken and a basket full of fresh eggs I have created a chicken coop ...  should you wish to buy this Stamp please email at crafteezee@gmail.com

I started it off with a 9 cm x 9 cm base then gone up the sides - two adjacent ones 11cm each side and the other two sides 15cm to make the point.

This box has windows all around - I have used a barbed wire die to cover the windows and door, plus used vellum all around the other windows. On the front I used sisal natural one.

On the ceiling I have used the fantastic Bloomar frame chipboard which I altered by using white gesso. As you can see chipboard is bendable to adjust to the project you need to use it for.

The butterflies are from the 7th Heaven paper pad.

I have coloured this cutie up with distress ink reinkers. I think she turned out nicely with the colours I chose for her which are Victorian velvet, Weathered Wood and Frayed Burlap.

You can spot the glass berry and the metal oval frame on top of the door.

I think this cute lady feels at home :)

Do you like the cute bon bons that I have used on my project? They come in different colours and are a good addition to dƩcor especially when using flowers.

I hope you liked my creation for this week and hope to see some of yours soon.

xoxo

Canvas - Mixed Media

Good morning everyone - today I'm sharing a canvas. A project that I thoroughly enjoyed making.
I love getting my acrylics out and oh, what a mess I make too. But if my craft space wasn't messy Tammy wouldn't be happy. Who doesn't have a messy craft room?

The canvas is 10 x 12 - before working on the colours I primed with gesso. I didn't really pay much attention to how I applied acrylic paints. Just used a household paint brush and went for it.
Chose colours that would match Lovely Day papers - Mintay papers - lots of lushness.

The wood effect paper I tore up - yes you heard it right, never thought I would do that!  - ripped it in strips and sprayed with water. This was so I could curl the edges up a little.
They were left to dry before attaching with 13 Arts gel medium. I used this product to attach all embellishments.

The artificial Lotus's are amazing - out of stock at the moment, they were so popular and I do believe give a great finish to my canvas. Foamiran flowers were made by myself using Lady E dies.
Bloomar, leave and ornament chipboards stand out so well, as does the dried roots.
Finished off with lots of lace, ribbon and of cause Lemon-craft butterflies.
A project that I have to keep - just couldn't bring myself to sell.
That's all for me today. Happy crafting.
Hugs
