Good morning everyone - today I'm sharing a canvas. A project that I thoroughly enjoyed making.
I love getting my acrylics out and oh, what a mess I make too. But if my craft space wasn't messy Tammy wouldn't be happy. Who doesn't have a messy craft room?
The canvas is 10 x 12 - before working on the colours I primed with gesso. I didn't really pay much attention to how I applied acrylic paints. Just used a household paint brush and went for it.
Chose colours that would match Lovely Day papers - Mintay papers - lots of lushness.
The wood effect paper I tore up - yes you heard it right, never thought I would do that! - ripped it in strips and sprayed with water. This was so I could curl the edges up a little.
They were left to dry before attaching with 13 Arts gel medium. I used this product to attach all embellishments.
The artificial Lotus's are amazing - out of stock at the moment, they were so popular and I do believe give a great finish to my canvas. Foamiran flowers were made by myself using Lady E dies.
Bloomar, leave and ornament chipboards stand out so well, as does the dried roots.
Finished off with lots of lace, ribbon and of cause Lemon-craft butterflies.
A project that I have to keep - just couldn't bring myself to sell.
