Penguin Warm Winter Wishes Take 2

I couldn't help myself!!  I made another card using this cute stamp - Whimsy's "Penguin Warm Winter Wishes".  These guys are just so cute!!!  Again, I also paired it up with papers from Maja Design's "Joyous Winterdays" collection.  Sooooo luvin' this collection!!!!  Shocker huh?  hee hee

These stars are AWESOME!!!  Studio Light's "Winter Feelings" die pack comes with a variety of some absolutely perfect stars for cards!!  Definitely my favorites right now!  There are some Scrapiniec chipboard pieces that I've first inked up and then added some gorgeous glitter to for some bling and pop.

Here are a few more stars for you and a few WOC flowers for my little bouquet.  AND ... what do you think of my little red peppers from JoyCraft??!!  LOL!!  Did you even really know that's what they are?  JUST FUN!

Here I've used a new Joy die called "Scalloped Edge die w/Flowers" - very pretty - and some more Scrapiniec chipboard that I've colored up called "Nordic Sweater Trees".  I like blue trees!!  LOL!!  That's one thing I really like about Christmas.  Any color goes!!!  There's nothing wrong with non-traditional colors and in fact, sometimes it's a nice change!

Wow time is just flying by!!  I hope you're getting your Christmas cards finished up.  I have done 30 now and have 10-12 left and have lost my mojo but I'm sure if I were to clean up my craft room it would probably come back.  LOL!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Hugs!

Christmas Wishes

Good Morning,

I am back with another Christmas Card that I have made using Pion Designs Christmas Wishes papers.

I have coloured up Wild Rose Studios Christmas Bunny using Copic Markers.

I finally managed to find a spare afternoon to have a go at making Poinsettias using foamiran. I did make quite a few flowers but have managed to use them all already. I have added some Snowtex & Ice Crystals to the poinsettia to make it look all frosty.

Thank you for stopping by & pop back tomorrow for more gorgeous inspiration.

Hugs

Emma xx

Holly Days

Hello everyone,

I have been having fun playing with the LDRS Creative Winter Land paper pad.  The shape was created using the LDRS Allifair die set.  The poinsettia's were cut out of the paper also and I even utilised the poinsettia on the cover sheet :)

I added snowtex all over and some Powertex 3D balls to the centres of the Poinsettia's along with a white pomegranate.

I addede Scrapiniec holly leaves from the Holly Jolly Big Wreath set along with diecut holly leaves from the Holly Wreath Circle die set, also cut out of the Winter Land papers.  I added green moss to the arrangement and a seam vintage binding bow.

The sentiment was stamped out from the Holly Days Large Circle set and embossed.  This was layered onto the criss cross die cut from the Holly Wreath die set and then layered onto the Holly wreath die cut.

Hope you like it.
Hugs Tracy x

Anthurium Bouquet

Hello everyone!

I know, I know....It's the end of November, but what about if we could escape for awhile from here and find ourselves on an equatorial island paradise ... crystal clear waters are fringed with spotless white beaches, exotic birds,
lush and verdant greenery whilst coconut palms gently curling in the breeze and of course ... tropical flowers :-)

This tropical bouquet was made out of Silk Suite Foam and printed with Mould Anthurium Petals. I've used some oil pastels to highlight those vibrant colours.

The technique of printing is absolutely the same as the one I showed earlier in the tutorial about Chrysanthemum leaves.

Thank you for coming!
Hugs,
Elena xxx

Christmas Elf

Good morning my dear crafty friends... are you busy with Christmas preparations? Still some cards to make? So I have another inspiration for you. For my newest card I used this cute little Christmas Elf. Isn't he just so sweet? I combined him with gorgeus Maja Design papers, from the new Joyous Winterdays collection.

The coloring is made with Distress Inks...

some flowers as decoration...

Now I wish you a happy day and bye for now.
Hugs, Karina

Wishlist

Hello everyone!

Have you all written your wishlist for christmas yet? This cutie I used on my card today seems to do a last check before he sends it off....

I picked the wishlist theme as the all-over theme of my card.

The background paper is one of the beautiful papers by Maja Design. I love those grey-ish blues and this one also has a print like falling snow. Also the green paper is by Maja Design. Inbetween those two I've put the background from the Clock with Snowflakes by Noor!Design. As you can see this is  not only great to be used with the clock but also makes a great and elegant background.

This is the cute Wishlist image by Whimsy Stamps that inspired me to use the theme on my card. He's been colored in with Copics, the reindeer's nose and the christmas bauble are covered with Glossy Accents.

On the right to the image I've added those grey-ish blue pixie blossoms and a metal leave.

Here you can also see the border with the green snowflakes and the circle with the snowflake printed in the middle. These were both cut from papers by Pion Design. A really fast and easy way to create decorations for your card that also all match in color.

Underneath the border I've also tucked in a die cut lace border, cut using the Flower Border die by Noor!Design.

On the left side of the image I've added a little wishlist. I've die cut the Notes die by Noor!Design here from brown cardstock and stamped a handwritten text on it. Then I used Frantage Chunky White on the edges - like I did on the edges of all the designer's papers as well.

Above the wishlist there was also room for this label with the yummy gingerbread hearts printed on. This label was also cut from a paper by Pion Design.

Have  a happy sunday everyone!
Hugs, Kathrin

Poinsentties - tutorial

Hello everyone!
Are you ready for Christmas?
Today I have tutorial for you: "How to do poinsettias with iranian foam"

Let's start:

I used iranian foam and Rosy Owl Poinsettia Dies (I love it:)

One flower will be two big petals and one small one.

I coloured my flowers with oil pastels. I like mixed colours and use 2-3 colours.

Now we need iron (not too hot)

I rolled petals on my fingers (until it's thin)

Now we must stretch the petals very very delicately.

I used matt stamens and colored them with oil pastels too.

I attached the petals (2 big and 1 small) by sticking them to the foam on the stamens....

...and my poinsetties are ready:) You may add some glitter.

Do you like it?

See you:)
Beata

Whimsy Stamps Sarah

I do love me a traditional green and red colored Christmas card so for this one I started with picking papers from Maja's new collection "Joyous Winterdays".   As always, Maja has outdone themselves again!  The cute image is from Whimsy Stamps simply called "Sarah".

The Scrapiniec piece I've used here is "Mistletoe Star".  I colored it by simply applying my TH candied apple distress marker directly to the chipboard.  After I finished, for the green I added Ranger crackle accents and for the red I added some red Stickles to change it up a bit.  In the store there is a new set of Joy stamps called "Scrabble Stamp & Die" and that's what I've used to make up my JOY sentiment.  That set is FUN and I can tell already that I'll be using it quite a bit!

I've added a few Scrapiniec "Nordic Sweater Deer" that I added some TH gathered twigs ink to.  The chipboard is very easy to add color as it soaks it up just the right amount.  The lace is called "Aspire" but currently out of stock so if you're looking for it just email Tracy however, there are others in the shop you might be interested in.  😀

Here I've used Joy's "Winter Wishes Lantern" die and then added my usual bouquet of pretty flowers.  I love the new red and green 2-tone pomegranate apples that came into the shop.  They are soooo perfect for Christmas cards!  I've also added some Joycraft Berries into the mix, which are also new.

Thanks again for coming by!!  We appreciate all your visits and comments.

Have a great weekend!!!
