Well we all could use a man card throughout the year so here's one for you to case if you like. LOL!! Hey, I'm all about making it easier for other people. Speaking of easy, the easiest thing to start with on a man card is a masculine image and papers from the same collection and in this case I've chosen Pion's "Mr. Tom Treasures". The motorcycle was cut from one of the 12 x 12 sheets - GASP! I know from a whole sheet!! Nah, I had used some already so it lessened the ordeal. LOL!!!
One of my favorite 12" x 12" pieces that comes from the line is "Mr. Tom's Automobiles" and has nothing but license plates all over the back. You have enough plates to last a lifetime!! WOO HOO!! LOL!
I love sprockets for men's cards and the Joy "Gears" die cuts beautifully. I also added a piece of vintage seam binding and was careful to just knot it instead of making it into a pretty bow. LOL!! AND it's green, a good "man" color. hee hee
To get the sprockets background I used Dutch Doobadoo's mask art "A5 Gears". This is the perfect staple to have in your stash! I also cut some of the Scrapiniec "Royal Background Mesh" and painted it using a Tim Holtz dauber. That chipboard takes paint beautifully!
Ok so I hope I've helped out someone with their man card as we know that father's day will be upon us in no time flat. It's funny, every year the same holidays and special days come up and I'm still so shocked when all of a sudden "it's here again!" LOL! Jeesh! 😀
Thanks for stopping by!
Eulanda this is a fantastic card for a man, and just right for father's day. I like the beautiful papers and gear design. All the other deco is looking great too.
